We’re Kristen & Hannah!

A dynamic duo traveling from place to place, creating beautiful hair and makeup.
Modern|Ethereal|Elegance

Composed of hairstylist Kristen McIntosh, and makeup artist Hannah Dezarn, Vagablondes have combined total of 20 years of industry experience. In addition to our behind the chair work, we have been featured in print and on film. We met in 2013 while working in the same salon, and not long after did our first wedding together. Immediately realizing we were kindred spirits, the two of us have been collaborating ever since.

Our signature style “modern ethereal elegance” is luxe without the fuss, as we believe beauty should look effortless. Every bride should feel like the most beautiful version of themselves on their wedding day, and most importantly, recognize themselves when they look in the mirror. We feel so lucky get to be a small part of someone’s big day and would love to be a part of yours!

OUR STORY

1. We start at the same salon & spa together

Two artificial red heads (GASP) meet at work.
2. Our old co-worker gets married

Two years after meeting, after one of us had officially gone blonde, and both of us quit the other place, we did our first collaboration together. Baby us for reference.
3. Cut to 2017

After 3 years of collaborating on events off and on, Hannah officially becoming a blonde, and booking gigs more regularly we decided a name would make us official. Vagablondes was born…however, we were called something else for about 48 hours.
4. Ten Years Later...

Ten years, and countless weddings later Vagablondes continues to grow.
